The 2024-25 Serie A season is back and back with a bang as the usual giants aim to fight for the title, while other clubs hope they can pull off what Bologna did last season and surprisingly qualify for the Champions League. Inter and Juventus look like the favorites to win the league on paper, but teams like AC Milan and Napoli hope to spoil the party in what should be another thrilling campaign.

Game of the week: AS Roma vs. Inter
Ivan Juric’s AS Roma will host Inter on Sunday for a crucial match for both sides. The Giallorossi had some ups and down under new coach Juric who replaced former Roma icon Daniele De Rossi and need a win against a big team to recreate that positive atmosphere as fans in the stadium are still protesting against American owner Dan Friedkin. On the other hand, Inter had a solid win against Torino on the last matchday, but the side coached by former Simone Inzaghi need to find again their defensive solidity as they have already conceded nine goals in seven games so far.

Pulisic to score again?
