Gareth Southgate has confirmed England’s senior training squad for Euro 2024, ahead of warm-up friendlies against Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Iceland.

The Three Lions boss named 33 players in his provisional squad, which will be cut down to 26 for the month-long summer tournament, which starts in June.

Named in the squad are first-time senior call-ups Jarell Quansah and Curtis Jones, while Crystal Palace teenager Adam Wharton is also included.

Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson are two notable omissions. Rashford scored only eight goals all season, while Henderson’s move to Ajax failed to save his international career.

The players will meet up for the first on Wednesday, May 29, though those from Tottenham and Newcastle United will link up later due to their post-season friendly in Australia.
