In August, the AUF (Uruguayan Football Federation) announced that Adidas, Puma, Nike and Kelme were in the running to become the team’s new technical partners for the coming years. Last night it was officially announced that Nike would take over.
Nike will supply Uruguay with kits until at least the 2026 World Cup.
Nike also supplied Uruguay’s kits for the recent 2024 Copa America, although the deal was only temporary.
