The Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol (AUF) has revealed its Nike home and away kits for 2025. The new uniforms, while maintaining the country’s traditional color scheme, feature a distinctive chevron pattern subtly woven into the fabric of the home jersey.
The 2025 Nike home jersey showcases Uruguay’s signature celestial blue, with a modern geometric pattern creating depth across the chest and torso. White accents appear on the collar, sleeve cuffs, and a striking vertical panel along the sides. The Nike Swoosh and AUF crest maintain their traditional positioning, while player numbers are displayed in bold black digits.
In contrast, the Uruguay 2025 Nike away shirt presents a clean white base with black details, offering a fresh take on Uruguay’s alternative uniform. Both jerseys feature a crew neck collar design.
The new kits will be worn exclusively by Uruguay’s youth teams across all age groups, the senior women’s national team, and both the futsal and beach soccer national teams throughout 2025. This limited distribution is noteworthy, as the men’s senior national team will continue wearing their 2024/25home and away kits, which debuted during the 2024 CONMEBOL Copa América.
The AUF has confirmed that the next major kit update for the senior men’s national team will arrive in late 2025, ahead of their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign. This strategic timing ensures La Celeste will have fresh uniforms for football’s premier international tournament.
