Keeping this short & sweet because after 9 years of blogging about this stuff… I’m the wrong creator to be OMG OBSESSED with… everything. But I’m still gonna dabble.
Last year, the blog rose from the dead for lululemon Black Friday because I was down and out on the couch with COVID. This year, I’m drinking a Baileys & coffee while skipping out on a road race because it’s 37 and raining out and ain’t nobody got time for that brand of misery. So I’m doing the blog thing before I get on with my day.
While I’ve diversified my activewear spending in 2024, I haven’t cut lululemon out entirely, so… ofc I’m going to take a scroll and see what’s up.
lululemon Black Friday is live, and there are ~700 styles currently marked down. This is slightly overwhelming given that I am “I remember when 37 items in WMTM was an insanely high amount” years old, so here’s the way to tackle it if you’re still into lululemon and are hoping for a dopamine hit before sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner.
Skip the ramble, go straight to your size.

Keep in mind while shopping…
- If you see any item in plain black on markdown, it’s getting put out to pasture. Grab it before it’s gone forever.
- If you see a ribbed version of something (ex. Aligns, Wunder Trains), the fit is generally a bit more snug.
- Wundermost items also fit pretty snug. If you’re in between sizes, err up.
Otherwise… here are my two cents:
The best lululemon markdowns for: Running
ANYTHING Swiftly. I’ve been tracking every single running outfit I’ve worn for the last 2 years, and the lululemon Swiftly is the undisputed champ. It doesn’t stink, and they go in the dryer. While some quality has faltered over the years, the Swiftly collection has held steady. (Shop: All Running Markdowns)
- While they were phased out in favor of the ‘updated’ Fast & Frees (which have had quality issues IMHO), the Base Pace Crops & Shorts I own from a couple years back have held up well. If you can get your hands on a pair in your size, IMHO, they’re worth it.
- I’ve not tried them personally, but have actually heard good things about the Beyondfeel Running Shoe, that they were cushier than their Blissfeel counterparts (which I have, and don’t hate).
- The compression on the SenseKnit Running High-Rise Tight is worth the marked down price. Originally asking $168 was steep, but $89 is pretty good, in comparison to their less compressive counterparts. I have the shorts and they HOLD. YOU. IN.
The best lululemon markdowns for: Looking semi- put together
Just because we *can* wear workout gear all the time doesn’t mean we need to. I know, that’s a rich statement coming from me, but I’ve kind of wanted to TRY lately.

Real talk: this was going to be a section of other cute picks. After opening tabs for at least 8 other items, the lack of available sizes goes to prove the point that I started this post with. So little was available in more than one size, that I’m not going to share a bunch of dead end links to disappointment for 95% of women who click on these links. FILTER BY SIZE.
All sizes go on this Symphony Blue Wunder Puff Cropped Vest & Wunder Puff Jacket, though.
