Real Betis completed his loan move for Brazilian winger Antony from Manchester United until the end of the season, the La Liga side announced on Saturday.
Antony began his professional career as a footballer at Sao Paulo, making his debut with the first team in 2018.
After two and a half seasons with the Brazilian team, he made the leap to European football with Ajax in February 2020. The Brazilian stood out during his stay in the Netherlands with 24 goals in 82 games, winning two league titles and a Dutch cup.
His great numbers led him to join United in the summer of 2022, a team with which he won the League Cup and the FA Cup.
Antony has played for Brazil’s senior national team at the FIFA World Cup 2022 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, winning the gold medal at the latter.
