PUMA Football has unveiled the Morocco national team’s home and away kits for 2024/25, featuring designs that blend traditional cultural elements with modern sportswear innovation.
The 2024/25 home jersey maintains Morocco’s signature red colorway with green trim, showcasing an intricate geometric pattern inspired by traditional zellige tilework. The all-over print features interconnected stars and angular shapes embedded in the fabric, while the collar and sleeve cuffs incorporate green accents.
The 24/25 away shirt, which debuted during Morocco’s AFCON 2025 qualifier against Gabon on Friday, presents a clean white base with distinctive green zigzag patterns on the collar and sleeve edges.
Red PUMA logos accent the shoulders, while a horizontal red stripe runs across the lower back portion of the jersey. The geometric patterns continue subtly in the fabric, though more understated than on the home version.
Amsterdam-based designer Abderrahmane Trabsini drew inspiration from Moroccan and Berber craftsmanship for both kits. The home jersey’s pattern references traditional zellige tile motifs symbolizing unity and eternity, while the away kit incorporates protective Berber symbols commonly found in Moroccan rugs. They represent protection, fertility, and harmony.
The kits arrive at a significant moment for Moroccan football, as the nation prepares to host the 2025 men’s and women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Following their historic FIFA World Cup semi-final appearance in 2022, these uniforms will clothe a team carrying high expectations into upcoming competitions.
