Manchester United are expected to hold talks with French midfielder Adrien Rabiot over a free transfer in the coming days, according to Daily Star.
The 29-year-old has been a free-agent since the start of July. He turned down a new contract with Juventus in order to secure a higher annual salary.
Rabiot is currently eyeing around €10m per year alongside a €15m signing-on fee. He has turned down offers from Saudi which is a boost for United.
The Red Devils have yet to approach his agent, but there is likely to be movement in the near future under the recommendation of Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag is well aware of the hectic schedule with extra European games and he has urged the hierarchy to secure a Bosman deal for Rabiot.
Rabiot came close to joining United from the Bianconeri two years ago, but a transfer did not materialise in the end due to differences in personal terms.
