Lille wonderkid Leny Yoro is waiting for Real Madrid despite Manchester United’s concrete interest in signing him, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 18-year-old is considered as one of the best young centre-backs in European football and he is expected to leave Lille this summer.
United have already agreed a deal worth €50m with the French outfit for him, but Yoro continues to hold out for a dream move to Madrid.
Madrid are yet to make a formal proposal on the table, but it has been reported that they are unwilling to pay more than €35m.
Yoro has entered the final year of his contract with Les Dogues, and Madrid don’t want to pay over the odds to secure his services.
The youngster is expected to leave the French club in the coming weeks, but he remains hopeful that Madrid will seal the deal.
Otherwise, he could accept the offer from the Red Devils, who have been monitoring his progress over the past six months or so.
