Varaman, a Phnom Penh-based sportswear company, has launched the new home and away kits for Cambodia’s national football team for the 2024/25 season. The jerseys, will be worn at the 2024 ASEAN Championship, showcase a blend of traditional Cambodian elements and modern design.
The Cambodia 2024/25 Varaman home kit features a deep navy-blue color, while the away kit sports a lighter sky-blue shade. Both shirts utilize a bespoke polo collar design, creating a unified look across the home and away versions. A standout feature of the kits is the incorporation of Cambodia’s national flower, the Ramduol, into the fabric pattern on the front and shoulders of both jerseys.
Attention to detail is evident in the kits’ design, with a print of the Ramdupol flower in Cambodia’s national colors adorning the nape of each jersey. The Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) logo is prominently displayed on the chest, alongside Varaman’s logo. A unique detail on both kits is the text on the sleeve cuffs, which reads “Kampuchea Techo” in Khmer script, translating to “Glorious Cambodia.”
As Cambodia’s team prepares for the 2024 ASEAN Championship, also known as the Southeast Asian Football Championship, they will be aiming to make history by advancing beyond the group stage for the first time. These new kits will serve as a symbol of national pride and ambition as the team strives to achieve this unprecedented feat.
