Bayern 2-2 Real Madrid | Goals That Shaped the Game

Vinicius Shines in Allianz Arena Clash

In Munich, it was a night where strategy met surprise, with Real Madrid drawing 2-2 against Bayern. Next week, they head into the Champions League semi-final second leg with a decent shot, thanks to their performance at the Allianz Arena.

Harry Kane, now a staple in Bayern’s lineup since his move last August, was as sharp as ever. Despite a slip in the Bundesliga, his hopes for a first career trophy are still alive. He’s got to shine again in Madrid next Wednesday, though his defense needs to tighten up. After a tense face-off with Bellingham, Kane took a penalty that sent Bayern soaring briefly.

It was Leroy Sane who kicked things off in the second half, scoring his first goal since October. This equalized the early lead from Vinicius Junior of Real. But Vinicius wasn’t done yet. He made sure to leave his mark with another penalty goal seven minutes from time, thanks to a foul on Rodrygo by Bayern’s Min-jae Kim.

Bellingham struggled a bit, caught out of action as a false nine. Even tried to chip in during Kane’s penalty but got shooed away by the ref. Eventually, Modric took his place on the pitch.

Kane’s stats are impressive this season, involved in 11 Champions League goals. He even tried a bold halfway line shot, though it flew over. And while Kroos played peacemaker for Real, calming nerves after Bayern’s initial onslaught, the game ended all square.

Ancelotti and Kroos kept their cool, even as the match teetered on the edge. Kroos’ tactical play, exploiting a gap left by Kim, led to Vinicius striking hard and fast, setting the stage for a charged second leg back at Bernabeu.
