The stage is set for the 2024 Laureus World Sports Awards. The biggest names from the world of sports have arrived at Madrid’s Palacio de Cibeles to grace the most prestigious honors event on the international sporting calendar. While the ceremony hasn’t even begun yet, Usain Bolt and Jude Bellingham have already taken center stage by unexpectedly joining forces, sending fans into a frenzy.
Bolt and Bellingham bumped into each other on the red carpet while posing for the flashing cameras. Interestingly, the former Olympian did quite the unexpected for the paparazzi as he performed the England international’s usual celebration of flaring arms wide open in the air. The moment saw all the cameras click tons of pictures. Remarkably, renowned journalist Victorio Calero took the opportunity to chat with both athletes after their posing session was over.
Calero told Bolt that he prefers the Real Madrid star’s celebration over the Jamaican’s legendary “To Di World” celebration, where the former sprinter kneels down while aiming both hands up in the air. This led Bolt to fire an interesting response. He said, “It’s okay, I’ve seen him do it and it’s iconic how he does it.”
