2024 Big Ten Baseball Tournament History
The Big Ten baseball tournament got started in 1981. Until 1999, the tourney was a four-team double-elimination contest. The league expanded to a 6-team double elimination format. A few years later in 2014, the Big Ten expanded the tournament to eight teams. The teams that get the nod to play in the tournament have the best overall records in the regular season in conference play. Similar to the SEC Tournament, not all teams get to play in the 2024 Big Ten baseball tournament schedule.
