Manchester United extend long-term partnership with DHL – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United have extended one of their most high-profile commercial partnerships.

The deal with DHL, the club’s official logistics partner, has been extended to 2027, after first being inked in 2011.

In a post on their official website, United explain that the partnership will continue with the evolution of the ‘A World United’ campaign.

This campaign has run for several years with the aim of connecting United fans from all over the world, with DHL giving fans the chance to win prizes such as personalised shirts and virtual meetings with club legends.

Now, the new ‘United for One Goal’ campaign looks to recognise fans and individuals who make a difference in their local communities.

Fans are invited to make nominations, with potential rewards including signed merchandise, tickets for United matches and even the chance to play at Old Trafford.

United CEO Omar Berrada said: “We are delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with DHL. We share many years of positive impactful work, and this will continue globally through ‘United for One Goal’.

“The longevity of the partnership is down to our shared values and our ambitions to use our global influence to drive positive change in local communities.”

Of course, the news of an extended deal with DHL has given fans unlimited opportunity to call for the team to “deliver” on the pitch after an underwhelming start has left them in 14th place after three games.

The Reds travel to Southampton for Saturday’s early kick-off and Erik ten Hag’s men will be desperate to get their season back on track.

It was anticipated that Rasmus Hojlund would recover from his injury in time to face the Saints, offering a much-needed boost up front.

But according to reports the young Dane will not be rushed back into the team, so may not feature at the weekend.

Striker Joshua Zirkzee, brought in over the summer to supplement Hojlund in a youthful frontline, scored and assisted in his first start for the Netherlands at the weekend, and hopes are high he will carry this form forward.
