AFC Ajax, the record Dutch champions, have unveiled their new adidas home kit for the 2024/25 season, set to be worn in their upcoming Eredivisie, KNVB Cup, and UEFA Europa League campaigns. The kit, designed by long-time partner adidas, pays homage to one of the club’s most dominant eras while maintaining a classic and clean aesthetic.
The Ajax 24/25 adidas home jersey features a striking red polo collar, reminiscent of the iconic kit worn during Ajax’s triumphant 1994/95 season, which saw them clinch the UEFA Champions League title. This subtle nod to history serves as inspiration for the current squad as they aim to replicate past glories. The shirt’s design is further enhanced by a central red stripe running down the front, flanked by the club’s traditional white base.
Adorning the left chest is the Ajax logo, complete with three golden stars symbolizing their numerous domestic titles. The adidas logo takes its place on the right chest, while the shoulders feature subtle three-stripe detailing, a signature element of adidas designs. In a thoughtful touch connecting the kit to the city of Amsterdam, the three Saint Andrew’s Crosses from the city’s coat of arms are incorporated as a neck detail.
