Gerard Pique‘s face was a picture. Barcelona‘s defeat in the Europa League coincided with the start of the Kings League show on Twitch and the Catalan was visibly pissed off.
After having to listen to some comments from his team-mates as he joined the chat show, Pique confessed that he was watching the game and he was furious.
“It was a fu**ing mess,” Pique declared.
Barcelona, after being eliminated from the Champions League after failing to progress from the group stage, have been knocked out of the Europa League after drawing the first leg and losing 2-1 at Old Trafford against Manchester United, the club which actually gave Pique his start in senior football.
Goals from Fred and Antony completed Manchester United’s turnaround after Robert Lewandowski had put the Blaugrana ahead from the penalty spot in the 18th minute of play.
