In the 40th minute of the first half of the match against Sporting CP, the Juventus goalkeeper asked to be substituted.
The Poland international touched his chest several times, apparently out of breath.
The player was quickly replaced by Mattia Perin. The goalkeeper left the pitch in tears.
The medical team immediately carried out the necessary examinations. Szczesny had suffered a slight tachycardia.
