For sprinters, getting that perfect launch is of paramount importance to achieve their top speeds during the run. And that is one area where Noah Lyles has been constantly struggling despite having multiple accolades in his kitty. Therefore, he is looking to make every opportunity count to better that. With several meetings filling Lyles’ diary pages for the coming weeks, the 26-year-old is taking preparations for the Games to a whole new level. And the focus of that is his much-talked-about starts.
In a recent post on X by Track Spice, Lyles’ latest experiment has been shed light upon. “Noah Lyles teams up with sports mechanics research expert Ralph Mann focusing on enhancing his race start,” reads the caption of the post. “He works with the body…learns how to make it faster,” says Noah in the accompanying video.

Lyles also said that he’s been working with the biomechanist to find the angles that would give him the fastest starts. With the USATF Bermuda Meet coming up on April 26, Lyles will get the perfect opportunity to test his newest hypotheses.
