The 2024-25 NHL preseason schedule is being released by team this year. The first preseason matchups begin on September 22nd, 2024. The teams are playing between six and seven games this year (some could play eight). As matchups and times are available, we are including them for you below. We can expect the NHL to publish a roll-up of all the team’s schedule.
When does the 2024-25 NHL Preseason schedule Take Place?
The 2024-25 NHL preseason gets started on September 22nd, 2024. While the 2024-25 NHL regular season is expected to start on October 4th, we’ll see some bleedover with some of the preseason games. This is mostly with the Sabres and Devils first matches of the season taking place in Prague. For the other teams, we’ll see their preseason games continue through October 5th for a number of them.
2024-25 NHL Preseason Schedule
We have all of the 2024-25 NHL preseason schedule matchups for the teams who have released them so far. As the schedules come out, we’ll keep you updated here. The preseason is always a great place for teams to workout their new free agents, players taken in the 2024 NHL draft, and to just work on things that didn’t go so well in the 2023-24 NHL regular season. Everyone has the same goal. Make it to the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals.
